Starting from "Tetris Effect" and from the many things it has in common with skateboarding, we asked seven different artists, belonging to different experiences and worlds, to illustrate a board and a tee-shirt, using the style and the technic more compliant with their own experience. Also we asked them to document, as possible they could, the mental process and the creation behind their works, so that we could give it to you with their own cutomized board.
VivaUltra, Paper Resistance, Todd Bratrud, Mirai Pulvirenti, Lorenzo Fonda, Mauro Gatti e Tommaso Gorla are the seven artists that we have selected for this first MayDay Artist Series.
